Do you know how is the ERL transformer wound? our enigneer department gave you the answer
Two things must be noted to make it well:
One: each winding should adopt many fine copper wires and be wound together, not
single thick copper wire, because high frequency ac has skin effect.
The so-called skin effect, simply put, is that high frequency ac only walks along the
surface of the wire. The inside of the wire does not run current
The weaker the axial current in the wire, the closer it is to the surface of the wire,
the stronger the current is.The use of multiple strands of thin copper wire and winding
together, is actually to increase the wire
The surface area of the wire, thereby making it more efficient to use the wire. For example,
the primary 3T+3T, if you use a single enamelled wire with a diameter of 2.50mm, the
cut of the wire

High quality ERL transformer apply to PCB and power supply ,auto isolation transformer, auto power transformer, automatic high frequency transformer, bakelite bobbin transformer, ballast transformer, battery charger transformer etc
Why does the air gap store most of the ERL transformer's energy?
The filling material at the air gap must be demagnetically magnetic, otherwise it may cause short circuit in the air gap and fail to achieve the original purpose of opening the air gap. It is necessary to keep the structural balance to minimize the magnetic flux noise。
ERL transformer manufacturing process: winding to determine the parameters of the skeleton, all winding requirements flat without overlapping as the principle, a single group of winding monochrome line can be, two groups of winding must be two color line or grade dip paint to foot position, so as to avoid wrong winding, across the line must be taped isolation
Working principle of high-frequency transformer: transformer is a device that transforms ac voltage, current and impedance. When the primary coil is filled with ac current, ac flux will be generated in the iron core (or magnetic core) to induce voltage (or current) in the secondary coil.
The transformer is composed of an iron core (or a magnetic core) and a coil, which has two or more windings. The windings connected only to the power supply are called primary windings, and the rest are called secondary windings.
