Basic operating principle of transformer
Electrical equipment made of transformer by electromagnetic induction principle. In short:
Electromagnetism: the primary side of the alternating current, in the core is a variable magnetic field.
The transformer can only input ac voltage, from the transformer primary winding two phase input ac voltage, from the secondary winding output ac voltage.
Working principle simplified analysis, hypothesis:
1. The primary and secondary windings are fully coupled, and the magnetic flux of the primary and secondary windings is the same
2. The magnetic resistance of the intimate magnetic circuit is zero, and the core loss is also zero
3. The resistance of primary and secondary windings is zero.
Working principle tips:
After an ac voltage is input into a winding, there is an ac current in the winding and an alternating magnetic field is generated in the winding.
Because the secondary winding is also wound around the iron core or magnetic core, the changing magnetic force line passes through the secondary winding and generates the induction electromotive force at both ends of the secondary winding. The voltage generated by the secondary winding is different from the input voltage (there is also the same as the input voltage, such as 1:1 transformer).
When the primary winding of a transformer is connected with ac voltage, the two ends of its secondary winding output ac voltage, which is the basic principle of the transformer.
